Vice President – Compliance

**Role Description** The Vice President – Compliance is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. This role oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance frameworks that support Cozmo Logistics’ global operations and regulatory obligations. Daily responsibilities include monitoring regulatory changes, reviewing policies and procedures, and ensuring adherence to local and international compliance standards. The Vice President – Compliance will collaborate with senior leadership, legal, finance, and operational teams to assess compliance risks, conduct internal audits, and recommend corrective actions where necessary. The role also involves preparing reports for executive management, supporting compliance training initiatives, and promoting a culture of ethical conduct and transparency across the organization. **Qualifications** - Strong expertise in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance, with experience designing and overseeing compliance programs. - Advanced Analytical Skills to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks within complex logistics and supply chain operations. - Background in Finance or Financial Services, including familiarity with financial controls, reporting standards, and risk management. - Proven leadership experience in senior compliance or risk roles, ideally within logistics, transportation, or related industries. - Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications in compliance or risk management (e.g., CRCM, CAMS) are an advantage. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and present to executive leadership. - Demonstrated ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site collaboration in Dubai with remote responsibilities. - High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in compliance practices.
