Vice President – Compliance

**Role Description** The Vice President – Compliance is a part-time, hybrid role based in Sharjah, with flexibility for some work from home. This role oversees the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of GLF’s compliance framework, ensuring alignment with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring regulatory developments, assessing compliance risks, and advising senior leadership on governance and control measures. The Vice President – Compliance will develop and update compliance policies, lead audits and reviews, and coordinate training and awareness programs for team members and partners. The role also involves collaborating with finance, legal, operations, and external stakeholders to promote ethical conduct and maintain a strong culture of compliance across all GLF activities. **Qualifications** - Strong expertise in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance, with a proven ability to design and maintain organizational compliance frameworks. - Advanced Analytical Skills to assess risk, interpret complex regulations, and provide clear, actionable recommendations. - Experience in Finance and Financial Services, particularly in applying compliance requirements to financial operations and transactions. - Demonstrated leadership in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), with experience influencing senior stakeholders and boards. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, policies, and presentations for diverse audiences. - Track record of working in or with logistics, trade, or related sectors is highly beneficial. - Relevant academic background, such as a degree in law, finance, business, or a related field; professional certifications in compliance or risk management are an advantage. - Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Sharjah, manage multiple priorities, and uphold high ethical standards.
